What type of combine harvester/tractor pulled cutter would you use if you wanted to machine-farm Marijuana?
Playing farm simulator 2009 and just wondered what kind of machine(s) would be used if i was to mod the game.
Thanks Jim, well theoretically which type (if inside said machine only magic and wonders happen) of combine or tractor pulled cutter would be used, because ive seen combines for harvesting grain and combines for silage and vegetables and they’re all different.
Its just an excuse to make a mod for Farm Sim 2009, but be as “accurate” as possible.
A leaf crop such as tobacco is still hand cut, threaded onto stakes and hung in airy barns to cure. Then the leaves are striped from the stalk.
Don’t know if Cannabis is harvested in the same way.
If you imagined such a machine, it would have to cut the stock near the ground and then suck the plant up, strip the leaves and drop them into the bin without bruising the leaves.
Sounds kinda “Willie Wonka-ish”.
