If you are in high school ask your guidance counselor for this information. They should be able to give you the information you are looking for. Even better yet, call or visit an ag teacher at a highschool.I tryed putting into a search engine “collages offering agricultrial education” and got www.uscollagesearch.org/agriculture-collages.html
Ag teachers are like chemistry teachers in that they have their kids put into practice what they have learned. That being both book , classroom time and shop time as well. They deal with animal science, horticulture, ag accounting, welding, carpentry, meat sciences. Most high schools that offer ag classes also have an FFA chapter too. The teachers coach and or line up coaches for a lot or different teams. There is a general livestock team where the contestants judge different classes of animals, meats teams that judge different cuts of meat for quality, crops teams that identify and grade grain samples as well as identify weeds, parlimentary procedure teams, horse judging teams, public speaking teams, sales and marketing teams, farm management teams. And the list goes on.

The Image of Agriculture Education $180.02 This study examines agricultural education in Botswana among students and teachers. Since independence in 1966 to the present time, agricultural production has declined from about 40 percent to about 3 percent. Harsh climatic conditions and a general ignorance about agriculture contribute to the restricted perception of agriculture and careers in this field.
