Equine Science?(preferably equine vets only)?
I want to go to school to become an equine vet(I would also like to do smaller animals too) but, I am kind of thinking twice about it. I heard that its not worth it to go through 6+ years of college and not get that much of a salary. I wanted to know if that was true.
What do you recommend about becoming an equine vet?
Are there any other equine related careers I could pursue that could make a high salary?
Thanks!
I worked for an Equine Veterinarian. We did Artificial Inseminations, Embryo Transfers… so on. I worked with her for about 7 months going to different ranches and stuff and she decided to send me out of state to work with a large Equine Facility on handling stallions and stuff, and I really had a head start on the Equine Vet thing and I ended up not pursuing it. But honestly I would rather work my way up that way, instead of going to college for six years. Plus the pay was AWESOME!
