Economics in International Trade.?
I am a freshman in college and have yet to decide on a major. I am leaning toward a major in Economics with an international track and a required minor in Social Science involving East Asian culture.
I am learning Chinese and will be transferring to the University of Central Florida next Spring.
I have a few questions about this major:
1) What is the difference between a bachelors in Economics and a Bachelors in Business Economics. Also, which should I choose if I want to learn more about international trade?
2) What are the main goals of an International Trade Specialist?
3)With this major, would I end up maintaining a career in the Department of Commerce International Trade Administration?
* Please only respond to this question if you can give me detailed answers and reasons for your opinion on this subject.
Thanks in advance
If you want to learn more about international trade, I suggest you do Bachelors of Economics. Business Economics will only restrict you to management.
International trade deals with analysing trade and trade agreements, financial flows, exchange rates and government policies.
Yes, you could end up in dppt of commerce.
