I want to start my own horse breeding farm!?

Like thoroughbred horses! Race them and that kind of stuff! Is it worth it? Do they make good money? Should i do it? And if so how do i start? Please help!!!

First, you have to have a ton of money. If you can afford to buy good horses with successful bloodlines, breed them to compatible bloodlines, hire a talented and proven trainer who has his own crew, build A B and C barns to house your animals,hire a security crew, stable hands,exercise riders, then insure, feed and house all of the above,that’s a start. Don’t forget to include all the medical expenses you will incur, which are enormous, entry fees, licensing, association fees’ etc. etc. etc.! And you haven’t even started working yet. Sound good? If that doesn’t sound all that intriguing to you, you should check into owning a share through a co-op ownership which you can find advertised in most DFR’s advertising section, or in breeders book ads.
