i need help planing for this farm/barn that we are getting!!!?
im looking for stuff i might need to have my soon to be 2-3 horses.
i have these stall mount things with the hay and grain feeder and i have a 2 watering thing that will go between them.
i also have 2 HUGE rubber buckets and these small buckets that could be used for feed and water too.we have 2 saddles and we will also have lots of room in the hay loft and we will have a nice small tack room they will have lots of room in there stalls and have a pound and lots of room and will have trees lots of trees.
and if you have any help on having horses at your home and any ideas that could help i will need lots of help.
It sounds like you have almost everything covered. Just make sure that they get plenty of fresh water everyday and daily turnout from there stalls. You should also have some saddle blankets to go with your saddles as well as bridles. Have there feet either trimmed or shod every 6 weeks and make sure you deworm them every other month. Fly spray is also handy if you are in an area where there are lots of flies.
One of the most important things you can have is a First Aid Kit. Horses pretty much look for trouble and will cut them selves on various objects and occasionally they will injure themselves. Have some sort of antiseptic on hand, like Betadine, and also have some gauze and vet wrap.
