Ramm Flex Fence – Horse Fence
I need help on horse fencing!?
I am going to have field fencing here is a link to it

But I’m not sure how big my wood posts should be in diameter.

we plan on using fence staples to secure the fencing to the posts.
any input would be great!!!
my dad uses native wood for posts around our corn and beans. So is this fencing not good for my horse??? It says ideal for cattle and horses.
I don’t shoe my horses…I think it’s wrong. If you are going to go on something rough put boots on them
Corner and gate posts should be 6″. Line posts 3.5″.
Up side to field fencing: Economical. Great for perimeter fencing large grass pastures.
Down side to field fencing: The horses can and will put their feet in it and pull off shoes. The can kick through it and cut their legs to the bone. Only use it as perimeter fencing and not between horses in paddocks. Best to use hot wire in conjunction with field fence.
Better fencing is horse wire or diamond wire. It is too small to get hooves through and when horses hit it they either bounce off or fall over it with very few if any scratches.
