If you went to a wedding like this?
I just wondered what other people would think of a wedding like this. It’s what I picture my wedding being like (what I’m planning). I know my family would think it’s just fine, and it makes me happy so I’m just wondering how other people view things. I was a pretty simple wedding. I’ll have a church wedding with the reception at another place (the church reception area is not big enough and decorated wierd). I really want to have it on a farm (it has a building set up as a reception/party area). I will not have real dinnerware. It’ll be paper plates and paper napkins with good ol’ plastic silverware. I’m not going to have “assigned seats”. It’s going to be laid back and relaxing where people can enjoy themselves.
Opinions? I would enjoy a wedding like this much more than a up-tight extreme organized wedding.
Wow, some people really now how to make you feel great.
My sister had a country wedding where we did the paper plate, plastic utensil thing. However what we did was buy clear plastic plates and silver plastic utensils. From far away it looked like glass and metal and many of the guests didn’t even realize until they were sitting down to eat. You know…this is the perfect idea. Throw away the mess when done. Why go to a lot of trouble when cleaning up? It’s your wedding. Totally do what you want!
