why does the way the lure wobbles matter when you are fishing for trout?

for fishing for trout in a large pond and the farmington river (connecticut.)

i was like well whats the difference? they are both gold. i like things simple. i dont want two different lures. shes like the way they wobble in the water.

why does it matter when youre fishing for something as simple as trout? they arent that picky.

the wobble makes it look as though the fish is actually swimming because it appears to shimmer under water.. instead of jjust a solid streak through the water.

I would prefer one that warbles because the fish won’t get a chance to admire it and figure out it’s fake, it will spark him to act on impulse and simply strike ignoring anything other than survival instinct to eat.
