A question about a scene in that movie “Funny Farm” with Chevy Chase,?
In that movie, near the beginning, all Chevy Chase asks is where those moving guys were and one of them takes one of his chairs and throws it into the nearby lake just for asking???
I know in the movie they just barely made it over a treacherous bridge that almost went out on them killing them as they just barely made it over as it crumbled, but I still don’t think that’s any excuse for those guys to throw his furniture into a lake.
What would you have done if this same thing happened to you?
In real life, what could the person have done or said that had that happen to them?
As a home owner you would have the right to file a claim for the damaged property…Renter’s Insurance would cover the losses too…Also you could file a claim (Commerical General Liablity) with the company that moved the furniture…While the furniture is in transport, the are responsible for the damages should any occur…~V
