Germ Farm Hands

Is organic milk healthier than regular milk even though it still has puss and blood in it?

Yes, I realize most organic dairies don’t use hormones and antibiotics, etc. but even the organic milk companies use methods utilized by large-scale dairies and use similar mechanical milking tools that many non-organic farms use.

Are those using hand-milked methods who actually go out there every morning and milk the cow with respect and gratitude supplying your Organic milk?

Are you picturing people who own family farms putting fresh milk into containers that go straight to your natural foods market for sale? (are you picturing Laura Wilder from Little House on the Prarie?)

How does that stop normal blood and puss and germs and other microbes from entering your milk?

I mean what if Juan didn’t wash his hands after using the bathroom and touch a cow’s utter to apply the mechanical milking appartatus? What are your thoughts?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

If it is cow milk, it ALL has “pus and blood” (somatic cells) in it. Obviously people aren’t aware of that, judging by the answers here, and that is alarming. I wasn’t aware until recently and now I can’t touch the stuff, no matter how much I wish it to not be true. Antibiotics are in most milk to treat udder infections. I would think that organic milk that doesn’t have anitbiotics would have even MORE pus and blood. Read up on it.
