Is it illegal to put inject dairy cows with hormones in the UK?

Like they do in the US?
If so, then why is there special organic milk in British sops?

I do not know about injections of hormones in the UK, but it doesn’t matter in respect to the second part of your question. Organic goes beyond that definition. To be organic, the cows must also receive no drugs and eat only organically produced feed and may not share the same facilities (barns, milk parlors) as non organic cows.
